[Renewal] Champion monsters and New World Monster Card Update

Tougher, more rewarding rare monsters appear in Rune Midgard. In addition to these Champion monster, a number of newer cardless monsters get their own monster drops!

This week we are introducing some real "mini-boss" monsters. Over 300 of these tougher versions of existing monsters will be introduced to the world of Rune Midgards, and will appear in the fields and dungeons where normal monsters are found. These monsters will spawn in limited numbers, and an be easily noticed by their larger size and effects. Though they are tougher to defeat, they also significantly higher drop rates.

Scaraba Card
"MATK + 20, MSP - 1%.

Dolomedes Card
"DEX + 2, If you are Archer class, increase addtional DEX + 1 per 3 refine level.

Miming Card
"When short distance attacking, give long sleep to the enermeies with certain rate.

Champion Monsters

These new monsters appear on a number of maps in a limited amount at a time, with over 300 new versions of existing monsters introduced this week. These monsters have a special prefix/suffix before or after their name that lets you know what their special effect is! The monsters are tough, but they compensate by having very high drop rates!

Prefixes/suffixes:
  • Swift- These have a higher default movement speed
  • Ringleader-These spawn a mob around them
  • Furious-very aggressive
  • Elusive-monster teleports
  • Solid-Very high HP
