Recently the closure of oRO has brought many new and old members of the community to iRO. We are very happy to have them here as is the community. However, there were some issues that came up during the migration process that we are seeking to remedy.

1. The data we were provided with from oRO is what was transferred; this includes account name and passwords. This data apparently was not from the closing time but from the last maintenance. We were not made aware of this prior to our putting up the transfer request form, so many people used the wrong password (they changed it after the announcement) so they weren’t transferred.



2. The baby characters were not transferred, this included their items. This was not intentional and will be addressed.

All baby characters can’t transfer, but the items on them will be moved to a character on the account that was moved. Also we will be having a 2nd chance transfer period.

Starting now (3am 4/7/2007) until 11:59pm (PST) 4/15/2007 (Sunday), we will be taking the following oRO inquiries to the transfers@ragnarokonline.com email address.

1. Subject>Baby character didn’t transfer.
   Account
   Server you are on now
   baby character name



2. Subject> My oRO account didn’t transfer.
   oRO Account name
   Destination Server
   User name on the account
   Email address for the oRO account
   Billing Address
   Phone number
   passwords used around the time of oRO closure

Please send those inquiries to the transfers@ragnarokonline.com email address with the appropriate subject line. The email may take some time to respond to, but we will confirm all emails sent there, all inquiries received prior to Monday 4/16/2007 will be put on the list and attempting to get them here after verifying the information.

Attention users,

The maintenance for 4/3/2007 will be four hours, starting 9pm (Pacific) and ending 1AM 4/4/2007. This is to be sure that all systems are working as intended to prevent problems with the oRO merger.

Guild treasure should not be affected by this, but if it is we will take appropriate corrective measures afterwards.

Additionally all oRO transferees MUST login the website after the Maintenance, and before 4/17/2007 and update their personal information and make all the appropriate account/character name changes by the 17th. .

Click login on the website (with your new oRO account name/PW that was sent to you via email) You will then be taken to a welcome page that will guide you through the process of updating the account.

This activity must be completed by all oRO transferees prior to the 4/17/2007 maintenance.

Also the 1 week Easter Event will be implemented tonight as well. A notice regarding it will be posted.

During the maintenance all systems will be down, including the game, website and forums.

Event Planner: A new month is coming soon, what do you think we should do to celebrate such a momentous occasion?

GM Team : Umm "Momentous Occasion?", how is the beginning of April even an event?

Event Planner : Well you know the beginning of Spring and April Fools day.

GM Team : Spring has already begun, and what was that last part?

Event Planner : April Fools...

GM Team : How could we forget April Fool`s Day? April Fools the only day of the year when you can get away with any sort of hijinx like hiding paychecks or glass in the coffee maker. I`ve the perfect idea we`ll make it so when you login all you have is a 1/1 novice with Permanent Orc Face, oh the laughter that would echo down in our forums and emails.

Event Planner : Yeah I was thinking something more along the lines of a quest, that actually would amuse the players like the Brandos sing show tunes or something.

GM Team : No, I think we should tell them that we`ll have some sort of MVP summoning event, oh I don`t know, in Geffen maybe, yeah we`ll do that.

Event Planner : But the show tunes!

GM Team : You can wear your glittery clothes and be fabulous anytime, but the Summoner Event is going to be our go to event this year for April Fools, so go make that happen. If you do I "guarantee" there will be no broken glass in your Coffee this year.

Event Planner : I don`t like the way that "guarantee" sounds, but fine. We will implement the event This Tuesday, March 27th 2007 during maintenance, and it will run until April 3rd 2007. To begin the quest players should scale the Geffen towers to locate and assist the Grand Summoner Geshtalt. This year he should have a bunch of new creatures that he can summon to challenge the adventurers.

Event Planner : You were just kidding about that glass in the coffee thing right?

GM Team : HA HA HA, yeah I was kidding about the guarantee thing.

Event Planner : When you just stare at me that way I don`t know if you are serious or not.
