His companion, Mojo, tries desperately to gain access to the notebook and learn the secrets within. But Father Grimm does not let up... that is, until you come along, adventurer.

Starting NPC: Father Grimm, Geffen Dungeon (132, 223)

Find Father Grimm and his companion Mojo inside Geffen Dungeon. After listening to their amusing argument, Father Grimm reveals that he found a mysterious notebook with a strange energy while exorcising evil spirites down in the dungeon. Before he knew it, his compatriots had disappeared into the world of the notebook.

After listening to Father Grimm's story, you offer your services to venture into the world of the mysterious notebook yourself to discover what lies within and find out what happened to Father Grimm's friends.

Missing Friends


Once inside, you discover 3 of Father Grimm's companions! However, two of them have gone missing, and it's up to you to help find them. As you wade through the murky depths of the notebook's world, the lines between reality and memory blur as you confront scenes from the notebook owner's memories.

Father Grimm stated that the world of the notebook is being sustained by its previous owner, Bomi. Continue your quest within the notebook and not only will you discover Father Grimm's missing friends, but Bomi herself and a few other interesting players in this elaborate game...

Send the Dead Back to Earth - NPC Gem
Prior to the events of the main story quest, Sister Gem's primary mission in the dungeon was to put undead abominations back to rest - and she still intends on seeing it done. To complete her quest, kill 10 of each of the 3 types of undead that roam the dungeon - Small, Fast, and Big.

Sweet Dreams - NPC Antoine
As a mage, Antoine has become fascinated with the creatures that roam the notebook's dungeon, particularly the Sweet Nightmares which he believes to have an effect on dreams. Help him further this studies by hunting down 10 Sweet Nightmares and collecting 20 Wavy Manes from them.

Unreliable Fake Blood - NPC Bomi
In the main story quest, Bomi had you collecting materials to create the fake blood that sustains her. In this daily quest, she repeats the request, both for herself and for Dracula. Hunt down 5 Neon Mushrooms and 5 Matt Drainliars to collect 10 Mushroom Saps and 10 Sticky Bloods so she can create more. But be warned - the false blood is unstable, and may affect Bomi in strange ways if you do this enough...

Curious by Nature - NPC Mojo
Because Father Grimm continues to forbid Mojo from entering the notebook, she resigns herself to simply asking you favors. Bring her back 10 Dried Yggdrasil Leaves and 10 Suspicious Pentacles, which drop from all manner of Restless Undead, so that she may study them. To appease Father Grimm as well, hunt 10 of the Restless Undead monsters while you're at it.

Studying in Dim Light - NPC Jojo
Jojo attempts to continue his studies in the dungeon, but it's just so darn dark in there! Help him out by collecting 10 Clusters of Nightmares (dropped by Sweet Nightmares) and 10 Shining Spores (dropped by Neon Mushrooms) he can use to create some glow for him to study from. They don't last forever, so repeat this quest every day!

Noisy Neighbors - NPC King
King cares little for the affairs of the others around him, but he does find Matt Drainliars incredibly annoying. Curry his favor by killing 10 of the little monsters for him. He also wants you to collect 20 Short Bat Hairs from them in order to fashion a warm cape for Jojo. Maybe his dark little heart is growing without him knowing!

New Items

You may have noticed that completing these quests grants you mysterious objects called Illusion Stones. You can use these to exchange and upgrade weapons with the Great Merchant NPC that stands by Father Grimm and Mojo.
